Anna is the founder of YEVU, a socially responsible clothing label made in Ghana, West Africa. YEVU is a social enterprise with the primary objective of addressing urban poverty through economically empowering disadvantaged micro enterprises, micro producers and artisans manufactures in Ghana’s informal sector. Informed by her background in international development, Anna saw potential in partnering with small and economically vulnerable businesses in Ghana in a bid to create jobs and support the local vibrant textile industry, whilst connecting them with a fashion-forward global market. Since 2013, Anna has opened sell out pop up stores in Sydney, Melbourne and London, as well as curating events for VIVID Sydney, bringing a little of West Africa’s magic with each YEVU instalment.
