There is a huge shift going on as millennials mature into decision-making power, control of wealth and emerge as a key customer and workforce demographic. We look at the millennial mindset and its longing for meaning through the lens of millennials as consumers of media and products, millennials as investors and millennials as workers. For LUSH, 90% of its customers and employees are millennials or younger, and we’ll learn how the voice of the customer drives innovation toward sustainability and keeps the company on its toes. For Impact Investment Group, they have recently launched a new venture capital fund called Giant Leap which is 100% dedicated to investing in impact businesses, in answer to the demands of millennial investors. Meanwhile Young Henrys are a millennial-friendly brand if we’ve ever seen one, and we’ll hear how a focus on hyper-local community values as well as sustainability and authenticity have driven the company’s success.
