Founder & CEO
Andrew Apostola is the co-founder of Portable (www.portable.com.au), a digital innovation and design company founded in Melbourne, Australia in 2006. Portable uses design and technology to help organisations transform the way in which they deliver services, particularly in the areas of justice, healthcare, education and government. In 2017 he became Managing Director of Arnsdorf (www.arnsdorf.com.au), a modern, sustainable womenswear retailer redefining online commerce in Australia.
Andrew is particularly interested in how technology is impacting the future of work and the flow-on effects this has for the education, government and social sectors. He has worked closely with a number of clients across this space — including the Foundation for Young Australians and Whitelion — and in 2017 he authored a report on the topic, Redesigning Work, which he presented across the country.
Andrew was awarded a British Council Award recognising him as one of Australia’s most prominent digital creatives. He is also on the board of Preshil and a judge of the Webby Awards in New York, the ‘Oscars for Online’.
My team and I are naturally curious people and always feel compelled to dig a little deeper; to think more about problems and how we can design solutions to solve them.
