Group Executive, People, Culture and Sustainability
Geraldine is the Group Executive, People, Culture and Sustainability at Virgin Australia. In this role, she is responsible for the Group’s people and culture strategy, organisational development, workplace relations and environmental sustainability.
Prior to joining Virgin Australia, Geraldine was the Australian Chief Operating Officer at Baker & McKenzie and a Group Executive Committee Member of the Australian Stock Exchange in her role as General Manager, People & Development. She has also served as a Board member on the Australian National Committee for UN Women and the Refugee Advice + Casework Service and is the founder of the Sydney Global Shaper’s Community for emerging leaders.
Geraldine studied at Harvard Law School as a Fulbright Scholar and has a Law and Science degree from the Australian National University. She is part of the World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leader’s Community and was named NSW Telstra Young Business Woman of the Year in 2006. Geraldine is passionate about helping others to reach their full potential and maintains a range of interests including next generation workforces, women and leadership, human capital development and purpose-led transformations.
