Passionate about cities, architecture, and the way people interact with the places and spaces around them, Michelle Tabet has committed her career to establishing meaningful connections between society and the built environment that surrounds us.
With extensive experience working with the design, property and urban planning sectors, Michelle’s interest lies in working with project leaders to set up the right strategy for projects that impact the urban environment and the people who live in cities. In 2014 she founded Left Bank Co, a boutique strategy and design consultancy focused on making cities more meaningful.
Exploring the productive niche between the strategic and the creative, Michelle understands the important role innovation, design excellence, brief development and strategic placemaking play in shaping successful urban environments. Her list of clients includes an impressive array of public and private sector players in the cities sector such as the Government Architect NSW, the Cultural Infrastructure Program Management Office part of the NSW Department of Planning and Environment, Lendlease, GPT, Creative Victoria, Christchurch City Council and Christchurch Redevelopment Authority, and many more.
