Stephanie Draper leads many of Forum for the Future’s system-wide change projects that bring together diverse groups of people to find creative solutions to difficult challenges. She is an expert in collaborative processes, change and sustainable development. She also oversees our work in India and Asia Pacific and has worked with companies and industry sectors on making sustainable business happen for almost two decades.
Steph’s background combines science and change management. Following her Masters in Environment and Conservation, she worked at the Industrial Society, specialising in strategy and change consultancy. Steph went on to set up one of the first CSR practices at the Work Foundation, and joined Forum in 2002.
Stephanie is co-founder and chair of the Sustainable Shipping Initiative, a trustee of the Travel Foundation and member of the Firmenich Sustainability Board. She writes and speaks extensively on how to create big change including ‘The Big Shift: how to create system innovation’.
We need a fresh business revolution – one where companies seek to shape their world for the better, and profit from it. To do this we need to engage the masses – in creating closed-loop products, in changing consumption patterns and the like.
